If you are looking to purchase a new hose for your Miele vacuum, the best way to find out which hose you need is if you have a switch on the hose handle that turns on/off an electric powerhead attachment, you need an Electric Hose. Otherwise, if you do not use an electric powerhead with your Miele vacuum, a regular suction hose (non-electric) is what you need. You must make sure to order a hose that would fit your specific Miele vacuum model. Turn the vacuum over and you should see a silver sticker with a model number that starts with the letter S. Use that number to make sure you purchase the correct hose.
