  Yes. The SBD365-3 combination floorhead has a foot pedal that extends soft bristles for bare floors, so it glides over hardwood, tile, and laminate without scratching.
• Does it work on carpets and rugs?
  On looped carpets and thin, flat rugs, yes: flip the floorhead's pedal to the rug setting. It doesn't include a dedicated carpet tool, so it's not suited to medium or deep pile.
• Can it handle pet hair?
  Low amounts. It picks up hair from a low-shedding pet well on bare floors and flat rugs, but heavy shedders and hair worked into carpet call for a machine with an electric carpet tool.
• What bags does it use?
  It uses 4.5-litre Miele HyClean Air CO dustbags. The large capacity means fewer changes, and the ComfortFit system makes every bag change sealed and hygienic.
