The Canadian made Centaur SL-5 Commercial Vacuum cleaner is a dry vacuum cleaner ideal for vacuuming hard floors and low pile carpets. This unit is best for tough jobs at cleaning and janitorial companies, schools, government buildings, hotels and hospitals. Its capacity is 20 litre (5 gallon) which is the right size to clean large offices. The SL-5 Vacuum cleaner body is 1/4″ thick polyethylene while the top is chrome plated steel.
SL-5 Vacuum cleaner is build to withstand the most rigorous use. Machines made in 1970 are still in use. The long life expectancy is due to the fact that they are using metal parts instead of plastic. Case in point, the motor housing, casters, intake nozzle and latches. All of these are made from metal which will last many times longer than plastic.
