The Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat and Dog is the most powerful pet and carpet machine Miele builds: a bagless canister with the height-adjustable SEB228 electric powerhead and a 2-litre bin. If your home has heavy shedding and real carpet, this is the configuration that handles it.

Two things beat a pet-hair vacuum. The first is carpet that's deeper than the brush can reach, so the hair you can see comes up and the hair packed into the base of the pile stays put. The second is the bag. Pet hair is bulky and light, so it fills a bag long before that bag holds much actual dirt, and a bag packed with hair is already strangling your suction. You end up cleaning at half power, then buying another box of bags. The Blizzard CX1 Cat and Dog was built to beat both.

Why it beats pet hair

A powerhead that reaches the bottom of the pile. The SEB228 Electro Plus drives its own brush motor rather than relying on airflow, and its 14-inch brush roll is height-adjustable, so you set it to your carpet instead of hoping the carpet suits the tool. The bristles keep working at the base of the pile where hair and dander pack down, on looped, textured, and cut-pile carpet from thin right through to thick and plush. It's self-propelled too, so you guide it rather than shove it.

Two litres of bin, and no bag to choke. Hair goes into a 2-litre container instead of a bag, which means suction stays where it started no matter how much you pick up. When it's full you empty it and carry on. Nothing to run out of, nothing to reorder, and no half-full bag quietly costing you cleaning power in the middle of the job.

Le livrer n'a mêmê pas appelé pour que je viens le chercher. Je du aller chercher la boite dans une place de dépôt. Finalement, l'aspirateur ne convenait a mon utilisation mais le vendeur n'a pas voulu m'envoyer l'étiquette de retour. Pour le retourner j'ai du payer 150$. La plus part des vendeur envoyent toujours les étiquettes de retour quand les clients achetent en ligne vu qu'il ne peuvent pas voir les produits en réalité. I love thos vacuum. It does have more suction than Dyson big ball i own. It picks up bigger dirt than Dyson. One thing i would advise to improve is make the floor attachment and tubing lay flat to the floor for ease of use.

I did a lot of research to purchase this new vacuum cleaner after our 10+ year old Electrolux broke beyond repair. The Miele is much quieter and has a lot of suction power. Our carpets upstairs and rugs elsewhere have not been this clean in a long time. The cannister is a bit bigger than I expected, but that's fine as long as everything gets clean. Would definitely recommend this Miele model to anyone with dogs.

This vacuum has the power to clean any dirt or pet hair. I have 2 dogs and my Bisson was always plugged up or the batteries would not hold there charge and they where 700$ . I threw away 2 . I find the power wand takes more strength than I have at the top levels and is still a bit awkward at the lowest level but still works well at the lowest level.
