Use heat according to the mess. VaporFlow produces steam at 356°F (180°C) at a stated output of 2,000 mg/min through six steam outlets positioned at a 48° angle. For greasy residue, WaveFlow delivers 187°F (86°C) running hot water through 32 outlets positioned to heat the roller evenly.

Roborock reports a ≥99.99% bacteria removal rate and ≥99.9% allergen reduction rate for the relevant high-temperature cleaning system. Roborock also states that TÜV SÜD testing of steam mode simulated five years of cumulative use, or 18,000 strokes, on solid wood flooring without observed swelling, warping or cracking under the test conditions.
