Navigate Thresholds and Clean Different Carpet Heights

The AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 combines the main wheels, auxiliary wheels and climbing arms to navigate difficult floor transitions. Its adaptive system analyzes and memorizes suitable crossing strategies, allowing the robot to move between rooms with double-layer thresholds up to 4.5 + 4.3 cm high.

For carpets, dynamic chassis elevation adjusts the robot's body height to support cleaning on carpet pile up to 3 cm thick. This function must be manually enabled in the Roborock app. Actual cleaning performance depends on carpet construction and environmental conditions.

When vacuum-only or carpet-first modes are activated, the robot can automatically detach its mops at the dock to help keep carpets dry. During mop-only cleaning, the main brush lifts to reduce contact with wet floor surfaces.

Reach Under Furniture and Around Obstacles

At 7.98 cm tall, the Saros 20X can access suitable spaces beneath sofas, beds and other low furniture. Its StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 supports navigation without a protruding LiDAR tower.

The system can recognize more than 300 types of obstacles, while VertiBeam lateral obstacle avoidance helps the robot navigate along furniture and other nearby objects.

FlexiArm technology extends the side brush and mop toward walls, corners and edges. When suitable toe-kick areas are detected, the side brush can extend beneath cabinet overhangs to collect debris from otherwise difficult-to-reach spaces.

Adapt Mopping to Everyday Messes

The Saros 20X uses dual rotating mops operating at 200 RPM. During ordinary mopping, the system applies 8 N of downward pressure. When tougher stains are detected, it can increase pressure to 13 N for additional scrubbing.

Stain-Target AI Cleaning uses the robot's RGB camera to identify different types of messes and adjust its cleaning strategy. It can increase suction for suitable dry debris or switch to mop-only cleaning for detected liquid spills.

Stain-Target AI Cleaning must be manually enabled in the Roborock app. Results depend on the type of mess and surrounding conditions.

RockDock: Automated Cleaning and Maintenance

The RockDock helps reduce the maintenance required between cleaning sessions.

Its bidirectional mop-washing system uses water at temperatures up to 100°C to help loosen accumulated dirt, food residue and greasy buildup from the mop pads. Intelligent dirt detection monitors the washing process and can trigger additional washing or another mopping pass when needed.

After washing, the dock dries the mops and dock base with 55°C warm air. It also automatically empties collected dust, refills the robot's water tank with warm water and dispenses cleaning solution.

Automatic dust emptying provides up to 65 days between manual dust-bag changes under the manufacturer's stated conditions. Fresh-air dust-bag drying helps reduce residual moisture, while the detachable dock base allows periodic manual cleaning.

The system also supports 2.5-hour fast charging, helping prepare the robot for its next cleaning session.
