Description

The SEBO Airbelt E2 Turbo is a lightweight German-made bagged canister vacuum that ships with a dedicated tool for each surface. A parquet brush for hardwood and tile, an air-driven turbo brush for looped and thin cut-pile rugs, on an 11.4-lb machine with a 37-foot reach and a 10-year parts warranty.

Most homes are not one floor type. There's hardwood through the main rooms, tile in the kitchen, a rug in the hall and another under the table, and a single all-purpose floorhead has to compromise across all of it. The E2 Turbo doesn't ask you to settle: a soft parquet brush that sweeps hard floors without touching the finish, and a turbo brush whose roller spins on the machine's own airflow to lift dirt and hair out of flat rugs. Two tools, each doing the one job it was built for, both clipping onto the same quick-release wand.

FAQs

  • Is the Turbo tool motorized?
    No. It's air-driven, meaning the vacuum's suction spins the brush roll rather than a separate motor. That keeps it light and easy to push, and it suits looped carpets, thin cut-pile rugs, and runners.
  • What carpet does it suit?
    Looped pile carpets and thin cut-pile carpets and rugs. For medium or thick pile you want a machine with a motorized powerhead, so give us a call before you order.
  • Can it handle pet hair?
    Low amounts. On hardwood and tile the hair sits loose so the suction lifts it easily, and the turbo brush handles light shedding on flat rugs. A heavy shedder will also go through bags quickly, so call us first.
  • What's the AIRBELT?
    It's the soft foam bumper wrapped around the front of the machine. Combined with rubber-coated wheels, it means the canister can knock into a baseboard or a chair leg without leaving a scuff.
  • Will my warranty be honoured in Canada?
    Yes. We are an authorized SEBO dealer and service centre. This model is sold in Canada only and all warranties are honoured in Canada.
  • How often do bags and filters need changing?
    The 3.5-litre bag lasts a long time in normal use and the machine tells you when it's full. Filters are replaced about once a year and are included with bag purchases.

I have been a Dyson user at home for many many years but after a serious accident the Dyson I currently owned was far too heavy & cumbersome to move round. Loved the vacuum warehouse site with the informative video reviews & decided to order the SEBO; used a Miele at the office I used to work before retiring & was not impressed with how the wheels became stiff so harder to pull round & how expensive the replacement bags were. Now used the SEBO Airbelt E2 for full housework a few times & so impressed with the weight, how far it reaches with the cable & longer hose, how it easily follows you round (entertains our goldendoodle as well), the rubber bumper so no more chipped paintwork, takes up less storage space & how I can do the whole house with one vacuum & less unplugging it to reach areas. Prior to my new purchase I used two vacuums because the Dyson cylinder was extremely difficult to use on carpets & I am confident the SEBO cleans better than both the Dyson & my Shark upright which I used for rugs. Was not sure about going back to bags because had bag less vacuums now for many years but there was something special about not having to empty anything after finishing, time will tell how often the bags need replacing. The only negatives are that I am used to having the air suction adjustment as an easy lever on the handle & not on the brush but not used that often so will soon get used to it. The power & suction adjustment switch feels flimsy & loose, not the same quality as the the rest of the vacuum. The upright Shark I use has some system that cleans hairs from round the rotating brush so have never had to clean it, noticed the SEBO had quite a few hairs round the brush after a couple uses so will have to remember to clean it regularly. Overall, very pleased with the whole experience & the new vacuum.

Love it Light, simple, powerful, and QUIET. The beautifully designed canister follows you everywhere with ease. The soft wheels and soft bumper makes sure that you are not damaging the floors or walls. The adjustable wand is my favourite feature. No more back pain for me. The bag is the best way of disposing dust, no more cleaning messy bagless buckets for me. Very well made and sell priced. I spent double on my dyson which I throw out.

Best vacuum for rugs and floors Perfect for wool carpets and hard floors. Makes vacuuming seriously fun. Lightweight and moves easily around the house. The noise is unbelievably low and the cord is very long. Had a Shark before that was just another department low quality vacuum with high price tag. This Sebo takes the disposable bag that I love. Much cleaner and easier to maintain this Sebo vacuum. The small tolls are very handy and the diffrent suction level makes delicate vacuuming posible.

AWESOME VACUUM FOR MY HARDWOOD FLOORS I am very happy with this vacuum. I want to thank all the reviewers that took the time to write a review on this Sebo vacuum cleaner. After reading through several reviews I decided to take the plunge and buy this brand. I was fortunate that I was able to borrow the Miele Classic C1 Classic vacuum from my neighbor and had a test run on it. I am an owner of a Dyson vacuum that I find very hard to use and has very poor results on wood and carpet. My Dyson ball is also very hard to move around and awkward to go under stuff. The Sebo and Miele are very similar in quality, suction and maneuverability. They both are also fairly quiet (compared to my Dyson). The design of Miele and Sebo was very well thought out because there is a parking slot that allows you to store the power head to the canister in a vertical or horizontal position. I choose Sebo Airbelt because I found it better fit for my house and my budget. I highly recommend this vacuum and I am thinking of getting my daughter one.

SEBO Airbelt E2 Turbo Canister Vacuum

Best decision for my allergies I’ve used only bargain vacuums my whole life and finally decided to spend the money for a better one. My first decision was to get a canister vac, because maneuvering an upright around furniture and using it for stairs and hardwood floors is a nightmare and was driving me nuts. Once you want a canister, the choices are pretty stark: a super cheap Bissell, a mid tier Kenmore or Dyson, Miele or SEBO. I decided on the SEBO because I had used a Dyson and figured out that it is not good in anyways. I found it heavy, bulky, noisy and awkward. Short cord and low suction and messy NO BAG system that I hate. The Miele was more expensive then I decided on SEBO E2 Turbo. After using it a few times I’m already convinced that the SEBO is worth the money. SEBO could make it easier to choose a model from their line up. Let me explain how I landed on the E2 because maybe that will help someone else looking. I have allergy and asthma sufferers in my house so it was the E2 for me because of the sealed bagged system and the HEPA filter. I have a decent sized house, so it was the full size over the compact. Then it comes down to which combo of floorheads that you want. I have lots of hardwoods and tile with a few low pile area rugs. After seeing reviews I really wanted the E2 for the combo tool for hardwoods floor and the Turbo brush for carpets and rugs. The K2 , which is the other base model in the SEBO line, only comes with the combination head. So that left me with the E2.

SEBO Airbelt E2 Turbo Canister Vacuum

Best sucer After using it for over a year, I can't begin to explain how wonderful this Sebo vacuum is. When I first reviewed it I wrote it doesn't pick up the real small stuff because I didn't realize that you can adjust the vacuuming strength by turning the knob. it gets pretty powerful, but can also be used with moderate strength in order to keep the noise down (it is very quiet). I have guinea pigs and sometime my wife lets them run on the carpet, this vacuum picks up their hair and dropping easily (this vacuum has a carpet setting which helps it get the stuff that normally gets stuck or a little clingy out). overall very happy with the purchase, be aware that it uses vacuum bags, but I've only changed my first bag after four months of using it(I use it every day just so you get a rough idea).

Best for allergies The vacuum follows you like a quiet and lovely puppy. You can't even feel that you are dragging it behind you as its really light and maneuverable. The soft bumper is soft and protective. The long cord is perfect to vacuum room to room and the suction control is very useful. But what sold me was its great air quality. We suffer from allergies and having multi level filtration and a BAG was the best reason to choose SEBO. I just love it.

You are gong to love it. I am very happy with this SEBO E2 vacuum. I want to thank all the reviewers that took the time to write a review on this vacuum cleaner. The Miele vacuum is as good but lighter than the Sebo. The advantages of the Sebo is that it seems better built. This sebo has great suction for wood floors, there is no backdraft of the air into your face if you happened to bend down close to the vacuum canister, and it's very quiet (compared to my Dyson). The design was very well thought out because there is a parking slot that allows you to store the attachment and wand to the canister in a vertical or horizontal position. Changing the bag is easy and clean. I hated to clean that dirty dyson bagless canister. I highly recommend this vacuum and I am thinking of getting my daughter one. I regret spending about a grand on my old Dyson.
